This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT systems, networks, and end-user devices. The ideal candidate has approximately 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting both onsite and remote employees, as well as assisting with new office setups.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues\nProvision, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals\nAdminister and manage device lifecycle and user provisioning through Rippling’s IT module\nManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across core systems (email, collaboration tools, SaaS platforms)\nSupport onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure and timely access setup and removal\nMonitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues\nAssist with maintaining wired and wireless office networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs\nSupport and help coordinate new office setups, including internet service provisioning, network deployment, structured cabling coordination, and vendor management\nAssist in deploying and maintaining audio-visual (AV) systems in conference rooms, including video conferencing tools, displays, and collaboration equipment\nApply patches, updates, and security configurations to endpoints and systems\nMaintain asset inventory and documentation of IT processes and procedures\nCoordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, internet services, AV installations, and technical support\nParticipate in incident response and escalate issues when necessary\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n3–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration\nHands-on experience with Rippling’s IT module for device management and access provisioning\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN)\nExperience supporting Windows and macOS environments\nFamiliarity with cloud-based tools and platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, Slack)\nExperience with endpoint management and MDM tools\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting office expansions or new location launches\nExposure to security best practices and compliance standards\nSuccess Metrics:\nOnboarding and offboarding readiness: 100% of employees fully provisioned by start date, 100% of access revoked within SLA upon termination\nEndpoint and security compliance: >95% of managed devices compliant with patching, MDM, encryption, and security policies at any given time.\nOffice infrastructure reliability: quick response to office internet network and troubleshooting. AV systems operational with immediate troubleshooting assistance on-site and virtually.
