The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.ResponsibilitiesProviding construction oversight and management on various infrastructure including transportation, water, wastewater, and storm water related projects.Oversight of contractors on the project site and responsible to ensure quality construction in accordance with plans and specifications.Manage activities such as layout, inspection, documentation and pay estimates as well as project closeout/resolve material deficiencies.Communicating and coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, and project stakeholdersCompleting field and testing reports.RequirementsPrevious construction engineering experience on transportation, water, wastewater, and stormwater related projects preferred.Local agency experience preferred.Active IDOT documentation certification considered a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A valid driver's license.Willingness to embrace and align with EEI's mission and core values.
