They provide a friendly, authentic, and enthusiastic experience with perfect service.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities: The primary job duties and responsibilities of being a Bartender include but are not limited to the following:\nMust be passionate about food, coffee, wine, and spirits\nMust learn and be knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus\nPrepare bar and lounge for morning, afternoon, and evening service\nMust ensure all guests are well taken care of at the bar and in the restaurant\nAbility to interact socially with guests in a polite and friendly manner\nTake guests' orders, organize timing of each course delivery from kitchen\nFood handling and service to bar patrons\nProvide outstanding full service for guests throughout their meal\nAbility to use and maintain a restaurant quality espresso machine\nMust monitor quality control and guest satisfaction\nConfident and professional salesmanship\nAbility to use Point of Service computer system (POS) to enter guests food and beverage orders\nCash handling of guests checks including credit card payments utilizing a POS system\nFollow recipes to maintain consistency\nMinimal food preparation to include the cleaning and cutting of fruit\nServe alcohol responsibly\nFollow side work procedures, keeping the bar properly cleaned and organized from open to close\nAnswering and directing phone calls in a professional manner\nFollow a proper restaurant etiquette to take to-go orders\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and quickly\nClose attention to detail\nMust adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policy and regulations\nMust always be pressed and tailored, complying to the dress code policy\nPerforms up to the company standards, expectations and policies\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nTiny Boxwoods offers competitive wages, daily family meals, generous employee discounts and beautiful spaces to work.\n\nQualifications: Tiny Boxwoods Productions require the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the position of Bartender:\nTABC Certified\nTexas Food Handlers certificate\nOutstanding guest service skills\nAbility to memorize recipes and beverage lists\nFlexible availability in scheduling\nCapacity to multitask\nAbility to work as part of a team\nBarista skills are not required but must be learned\n\nWorking Conditions: The incumbent will be working in a restaurant setting, on the floor with guests, in the kitchen and dish area. Potential hazards include but are not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.\n\nPhysical Requirements: The incumbent is required to stand/walk for long periods of time. Incumbent is regularly required to talk and hear.
