OverviewAs a SONIC Drive-In restaurant General Manager, you lead the team to deliver a clean, safe and efficient food service experience and ensure customers have an excellent experience. This is a full-time opportunity and offers benefits.ResponsibilitiesManages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating CarhopsDirects and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standardsAdheres to and monitors employee compliance with the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practicesPerforms restaurant opening and/or closing dutiesPrepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levelsMonitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels; places orders for food, paper and other supplies within cost control proceduresCompletes and maintains all drive-in restaurant employment related records and payroll recordsReinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all timesImmediately and respectfully resolves guest requests; reports guest complaints to the immediate supervisor and assists in resolving such complaintsInterviews and hires restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levelsPrepares all necessary operational reports; develops appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trendsDevelops and implements a marketing planQualificationsPrior experience as a restaurant general manager, catering manager, operations manager, supervisor, shift lead, restaurant assistant general manager is helpful to your success at this job.
