This position will collaborate closely with Government technical leads and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing data capabilities. Please note that employment is contingent upon contract award.\r\nPlease note this role is a TPC request, and any employment agreement is contingent upon a contract award.\r\nDuties And Responsibilities\r\nServe as the Databricks Subject Matter Expert supporting the IRS Enterprise Data Platform.\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions utilizing Databricks and AWS technologies.\r\nLead Databricks workspace architecture, governance, security, and performance optimization efforts.\r\nDevelop and optimize data pipelines, ingestion processes, and transformation workflows supporting enterprise analytics and operations.\r\nEnsure secure integration between Databricks and AWS services in accordance with established security and governance requirements.\r\nOrganize, direct, and manage multiple, complex, and interrelated application development and testing activities.\r\nCoordinate technical activities and maintain ongoing collaboration with Government technical leads throughout the IT lifecycle.\r\nEnsure technical quality across engineering deliverables and provide operational support during normal business hours.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\r\nMinimum of eight (8) years of experience supporting cloud technologies and enterprise data solutions.\r\nMinimum of three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on Databricks experience.\r\nStrong experience in Amazon AWS Cloud technologies and/or Databricks technologies.\r\nExperience organizing, directing, and managing multiple, complex, and interrelated application development and testing tasks.\r\nDemonstrated ability to ensure technical quality and coordinate with Government technical leads throughout information technology activities.\r\nAvailability to support operations during normal hours of operation throughout the period of performance.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nAdvanced Cloud and/or advanced Databricks certifications maintained in good standing at the time of contract award and throughout the period of performance.\r\nExperience implementing Databricks governance and Lakehouse architecture best practices.\r\nExperience supporting Federal IT initiatives, preferably within Treasury or IRS.\r\nBenefits\r\nMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance\r\n401-K plus match\r\nPaid Vacation Days\r\nPaid Holidays\r\nShort Term and Long-Term Disability\r\nVoluntary Term Life\r\nTJFACT is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
