We offer personal and commercial insurance products and pride ourselves on responsiveness, expertise, and professionalism.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our service team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, assisting with policy servicing, billing inquiries, claims support, and coverage questions while helping ensure an exceptional client experience.\nKey Responsibilities\n· Respond to client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, billing, and claims in a timely and professional manner.\n· Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations\n· Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up as needed\n· Review policies with clients and explain coverage details clearly\n· Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and transactions\n· Coordinate with carriers, underwriters, and internal team members\n· Identify cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities when appropriate\nQualifications\n· 1–3+ years of customer service experience (insurance experience preferred)\n· Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe)\n· Strong understanding of insurance products and policy structures is a plus\n· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail\n· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively\n· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems\nPreferred Skills\n· Experience in an independent agency environment\n· Familiarity with carrier portals and AMS/CRM platforms\n· Ability to explain complex policy details in simple, client-friendly terms\nCompensation & Benefits\n· Competitive salary based on experience, range $38k to $42k\n· Health insurance\n· Retirement plan with employer match\n· Paid time off and holidays\n· Ongoing training and professional development\n***References must be included with submission of resume.
