This role centers on researching trade exceptions and seeing them through to resolution while ensuring accuracy across transaction processing, account balances, and client reporting.\nKey Responsibilities Exception Management & Resolution: Research and resolve trade rejects, exceptions, and discrepancies using sound judgment and analytical skills to ensure timely resolution and minimal financial impact\nTransaction Processing: Process trades, client instructions, and account updates accurately while adhering to strict deadlines, including price protection cut-off times\nReconciliation & Analysis: Perform share and cash reconciliations, investigate account discrepancies, and resolve position and cash breaks by compiling and analyzing relevant data\nClient & Stakeholder Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal/external partners, handling requests via phone, email, and electronic forms\nError Investigation & Correction: Identify and correct account-level errors through detailed analysis, ensuring records are updated accurately and promptly\nData Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, update systems, and ensure all activities are properly documented for operational and audit purposes\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technology, operations, and service teams to resolve issues and support system stability and process improvements\nProduct & Market Support: Provide product knowledge, market insights, and technical assistance to clients and internal stakeholders as needed\nQualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail\nEffective written, verbal, and visual communication skills\nAbility to multitask, prioritize, and perform in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)\nBasic Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables\nAbility to work independently while collaborating within a team environment\nPreferred Experience Experience in brokerage, transaction processing, or financial operations\nExposure to reconciliations, trade lifecycle, or fund operations\nExperience working in a client-facing or high-volume operations role\nUnderstanding of financial markets and instruments\nWhy Join Us This role provides valuable exposure to financial operations within BNY’s Sub-Accounting business, offering hands-on experience in trade processing, reconciliations, and client interaction.
