This position is currently supporting responsibilities at the Controller level and offers broad exposure across accounting operations.This opportunity is well-suited for a technically strong CPA who enjoys hands-on accounting and prefers depth of expertise over pursuing an executive leadership track.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingPerform and/or supervise month-end and year-end close processesSupport Controller-level responsibilities as neededApply and maintain compliance with GASB standardsManage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial statement preparationAssist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting processesPartner cross-functionally to improve financial processes and internal controlsUtilize ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business CentralQualificationsCPA required (open to both early-career and seasoned professionals)Strong experience in governmental accountingWorking knowledge of GASB standards, particularly lease accountingExposure to nonprofit and/or private accounting environments preferredClick here to apply online
