The successful candidate will be in a client-facing role providing internal and external deliverables to clients as well as to the CEO. The Finance Manager will be an extension to our clients’ teams and requires both strong communication and corporate financial planning skills.\r\nWhat the role entails:Manage a portfolio of clients and provide regular finance and controllership services\r\nPerform financial and strategic analyses to support business insights, fundraising and long-term planning\r\nReview financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy, trends, variance analysis, and forecasting purposes\r\nEngage with clients to be on top of business updates and ensure key business drivers are understood and reflected in all analyses\r\nComplete and review complex month-end tasks and procedures\r\nPartner with your client team, which may involve bookkeepers, accountants, or other operational members of the client\r\nCreate and manage new processes internally and externally for clients\r\nAssist with payroll processing, payment processing, regulatory filings, and other day-to-day finance tasks for our clients\r\nUpdate forecasts, budget to actual, and variance analysis on a monthly basis\r\nOther ad hoc projects\r\nWhat you bring:Canadian CPA designation\r\n3-5 years of working experience\r\nStrong familiarity with cloud accounting platforms, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets\r\nAbility to lead client meetings and think strategically\r\nWillingness to investigate issues and problem-solve using professional judgment and accountant/bookkeeping background\r\nForesight to be proactive and complete tasks with minimal oversight\r\nAbility to work closely with a small high-performing team\r\nMotivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic\r\nAbility to manage competing deadlines\r\nExperience working in remote and autonomous environments\r\nNice to have:Operational experience as a Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, Manager or Controller is an asset\r\nKnowledge of data tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, etc) or other software platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, etc)\r\nExperience with Canadian payroll, specifically Ontario and British Columbia\r\nWhat we offer:faascloud offers a flexible, remote and autonomous work environment.
