{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"db90b3bd3793d00a7ecb56c7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/db90b3bd3793d00a7ecb56c7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/db90b3bd3793d00a7ecb56c7","title":"Const Controller","description":"We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to support project cost estimation and cost control activities within a major offshore energy development.Our client is delivering a major offshore energy development in the Eastern Mediterranean, involving the engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of complex offshore and onshore facilities.The successful candidate will join an international multidisciplinary team supporting one of the region's most significant offshore energy developments through various phases of engineering, construction, commissioning, and project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.Analyse project costs, including materials, labour, equipment, and construction activities, to identify cost optimization opportunities.Monitor project expenditures, update cost estimates, and support forecasting as project execution progresses.Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to validate cost assumptions and estimate changes.Evaluate cost impacts associated with project scope changes and recommend appropriate cost control measures.Support project reporting by maintaining accurate cost records and providing timely cost performance updatesRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction; a degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline is considered an advantage.Proven experience in project cost estimation and cost control within major Oil & Gas projects.PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCP (Certified Cost Professional) certification is required.Minimum 10 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry, including subsea developments.Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar cost control or project cost management role.Strong understanding of project estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.Working ConditionsLocation: Cyprus. We consider candidates across Europe. International long-term project within the offshore Oil & Gas industry.Work locations may include engineering offices, fabrication yards, onshore facilities, offshore installations, and construction vessels, depending on project requirements.Assignments may be on a residential or rotational basis, depending on the role and project phase.Opportunities to work within multinational teams alongside leading EPCI contractors and equipment suppliers.Competitive compensation package.Travel, accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, and other project-related benefits are provided in accordance with project policies for eligible assignments.The project follows high international HSE standards.
