This role will work closely with the lead developer to implement code changes, provide technical support to tool users, and ensure high-quality automation software through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nSupport the lead developer with code writing, updates, and modifications\r\nProvide technical support to users of automation tools and platforms\r\nPerform quality assurance, troubleshooting, and software development for automation solutions used in automotive multimedia head units\r\nInvestigate issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions\r\nCollaborate with stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and overall productivity\r\nContribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automation systems and related applications\r\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the automation workspace\r\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in Python scripting\r\nWorking experience with Agile methodology\r\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and solve issues in a timely manner\r\nProactive mindset with a focus on improving tools, processes, and work environment\r\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders\r\nPreferred / Plus Skills\r\nExperience with FastAPI\r\nExperience working in Linux environments\r\nExperience with React/TypeScript development\r\nWorking experience with hardware control scripting (I2C, GVIF, Serial)\r\nWorking experience with in-car network protocols such as CAN, CAN FD and Ethernet\r\nWorking experience in cloud development (GCP, AWS)\r\nPrior knowledge of automated testing for automotive multimedia systems\r\nEducational Background\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\r\nAdded Bonus\r\nFamiliarity with automotive software development environments\r\nExperience supporting production tools or internal automation platforms\r\nExposure to CI/CD, debugging tools, and version control systems such as Git\r\nExperience with building/training AI agents and ML model\r\nThe description supplied above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
