The technician also accesses, creates or revises print packages and database information for new sensor applications and new vehicles. This includes determining the most appropriate sensor for each application, based on vehicle data, sensor characteristics, and manufacturing information. Other responsibilities include the evaluation of engine components on vehicles, procedures and specifications for sensor testing, modification of existing applications where appropriate, support for the manufacturing area, and design of sensor subcomponents.\n*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*\nOperates the test equipment for new engine components and new suppliers.\n\nCreates and revises prints and database information for new sensor applications and new vehicles\nCompletes the supporting documentation for the print packages, which includes the BOM's, the print checklists, and the wiring diagrams, schematics, custom fabrication drawings\nAssists design engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of new product design\n*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*\nEvaluates engine components on vehicles\n\nMaintains a system for tracking timing and backlog\nDevelops tests, specifications, and procedures for engine components\nBecause of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change.
