The position also involves staying up to date with modern technologies to enhance system reliability and scalability.\nKey Duties\nLeads the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance systems for transaction processing and data management.\nDelivers optimized data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.\nBuilds, deploys, and maintains scalable cloud-native applications.\nLeverage AI-assistanted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation.\nCommunicates and accurately documents technical decisions and processes.\nServes as a mentor to other developers, providing guidance and best practices.\nEnsures high quality through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including testing and deployment phases.\nRecommends and facilitates the adoption of modern technologies such as Kafka, Terraform, and Snowflake.\nRuns complex projects, including the implementation of continuous integration and deployment environments.\nDevelops innovative features based on industry trends and user feedback.\nParticipates in code reviews, technical meetings, and architecture planning.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by the company's management.\nEducation/Training\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, OR the equivalent (X years) combination of education and/or years of relevant working experience.\nAt least 5 years of professional experience in software development roles, with a focus on high-performance transaction processing.\nRequired Work Experience/Skills\nExpert knowledge of Golang and Java.\n5+ years of experience in high-performance transaction processing.\n3+ years of experience in cloud-native development.\n2+ years of experience in Terraform and CI/CD environments.\nFamiliarity with Kafka, Snowflake, and NATS.\nPreferred Work Experience/Skills\nExperience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus, especially for enhancing automation and analytics within system workflows.\nAdvanced knowledge of Python and its application in machine learning.\nAdvanced understanding of cloud-native development and continuous deployment environments.\nIntermediate knowledge of data warehouse architectures, especially Snowflake and\nDiscretionary Judgment\nUses independent judgment and discretion based upon the employee’s experience in the position and knowledge of the products, equipment, and services\nExercises good judgment and possesses ethical work values, ensuring alignment with company goals.\nPhysical Demands, Working Conditions, and General Employment Guidelines\nModerate or high levels of stress may be experienced in the performance of the job\nPosition is performed in a general office environment, home office, or approved remote workspace where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.\nEquipment\nDaily use of the Microsoft Teams (phone), computer, printer, and other routine office equipment\nMust have internet access\nSafety to Self and Others\nLittle responsibility for safety of others.
