Apply via Dice today!Job Title: SAP Lead PP, PM, QM, MM, SCM and HCM - (MES Solumina & PLM Siemens Teamcenter Integration)Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)Employment mode: Contract to hireRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced SAP Lead to own end-to-end solution delivery and support across Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Human Capital Management (HCM).This role supports complex manufacturing environments with a strong focus on integration between SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), Manufacturing Execution Systems (Solumina), Product Lifecycle Management (Siemens Teamcenter), and other non-SAP systems. The SAP Lead serves as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, providing functional leadership across build, integrate, and run operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Functional & Solution SupportProvide SAP PP, PM, QM, MM, SCM, and HCM solution design and delivery across manufacturing and supply chain processesAct as functional design lead and ensure alignment with SAP best practices - Oversee enhancements, testing, deployments, and upgradesPartner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutionsMES, PLM & Non-SAP IntegrationLead and govern integration between SAP and Solumina MES for shop floor execution and manufacturing data exchange.Support SAP integration with Siemens Teamcenter for engineering BOMs, product changes, and master data alignment.Ensure end-to-end data integrity, traceability, and system reliability across integrated platformsProduction Support & Operations LeadershipOwn steady-state SAP production support across manufacturing and supply chain domainsEnsure system stability, performance, and business continuity in a 24x7 environment.Lead incidents, problems, and change management processes using ServiceNow.Drive root cause analysis, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiativesProject & Program LeadershipServe as SAP workstream or solution lead on SAP upgrades, S/4HANA transformations, and development/enhancement projectsManage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestonesProvide clear status reporting and decision support to stakeholders and leadershipClient-Facing & Stakeholder EngagementAct as a trusted advisor to business and client stakeholdersLead requirements workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughsTranslate technical concepts into clear business-oriented communicationBuild strong partnerships across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teamsTeam Leadership & CollaborationLead and mentor SAP functional/technical support teamsAllocate work, set priorities, and ensure quality, on-budget, and timely deliveryCoordinate with system integrators and third-party vendorsTechnical & Integration AwarenessWorking knowledge of ABAP to review custom programs, enhancements, BADIs, and user exitsStrong understanding of SAP integration architecture and data flowsSupport testing, defect triage, and performance optimization activitiesRequired QualificationsMinimum of 10-15+ years of SAP functional experience across multiple workstreams/modules (e.g. PP, PM, QM, MM, SCM, and HCM).Prior experience as SAP Lead, Solution Lead, or Workstream LeadHands-on experience with MES integration, preferably SoluminaWorking knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter or equivalent PLM platformsExperience supporting SAP production environmentsStrong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in manufacturing or industrial environmentsPreferred QualificationsS/4HANA implementation or migration experienceIndustry background in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or Discrete ManufacturingSAP certifications (PP, MM, QM, S/4HANA)Experience with global, multi-plant SAP landscapes. Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
