Guided by our core values—Integrity, Respect, Familia, Culture, and Community—we provide holistic, culturally responsive services that promote dignity, access, and opportunity.Position OverviewThe Social Services Manager provides leadership and oversight of Casa Familiar’s social service programs, including general, immigration, and community education services. This role is responsible for program strategy, staff supervision, partnerships, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure high‑quality, trauma‑informed, and equitable services.The Social Services Manager works closely with the Programs Officer and senior leadership to strengthen program design, deepen community impact, and ensure services meet both community needs and funding requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & StrategyLead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of social service programs to ensure effectiveness, quality, and impact.Collaborate with leadership to design, expand, and improve programs based on data, community feedback, and emerging needs.Ensure programs align with Casa Familiar’s mission, strategic goals, grant agreements, and best practices.Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, community‑centered environment.Staff Supervision & Team DevelopmentSupervise, coach, and support program staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.Support staff in outreach planning and service delivery.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professional growth, and open communication.Coordinate required staff training and certifications, including DOJ accreditation where applicable.Budget Management & ReportingManage program budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources effectively in collaboration with the Program Manager and Accounting Department.Monitor fiscal compliance with grant and organizational requirements.Develop and maintain reporting tools and templates to support grant reporting and program evaluation.Monitoring, Evaluation & Data ManagementEstablish and track program metrics and client outcomes to inform continuous improvement.Use data to assess program effectiveness and communicate impact to leadership and funders.Compliance, Ethics & Quality AssuranceEnsure ethical, professional, and trauma‑informed case management practices.Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, funding guidelines, and organizational policies.Promote culturally responsive and equitable service delivery across programs.Community Partnerships & AdvocacyBuild and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, service providers, funders, and government agencies.Represent Casa Familiar at community meetings, coalitions, outreach events, and advocacy initiatives.Serve as an advocate for underserved communities and promote Casa Familiar’s programs and services.Organizational SupportParticipate in strategic planning, internal committees, and agency‑wide initiatives.Support Casa Familiar events and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in program oversight, monitoring, and evaluation.Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.Bachelor’s degree in social work, law, business, or a related field.Bilingual/bicultural Spanish–English required.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Experience with Salesforce or similar case management systems preferred.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, resource‑limited environment.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and databases.Ability to travel within San Diego County.COVID‑19 vaccination required.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance403(b) retirement plan with 3% employer contributionPaid time off, bereavement leave, jury dutyAdditional InformationThis position requires occasional evening and weekend work, local travel, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
