Lead Set Up Machinist

Job Description Trompler Fluid Power is looking for the needle in a haystack. If you're looking for a challenging job with stability in a family owned company, you could be that needle. Here's what we are looking for: Job Requirements: Over 5 years of working experience in CNC Turning center setup and machining preferred. In-Depth understanding of G-code programming Run production as needed, including operating multiple work centers simultaneously. Physical abilities to load and run various manufacturing machinery, including Manual machining equipment & CNC lathes. Good blueprint reading skills a must. Knowledge of GD&T preferred. Thorough understanding of mechanical inspection techniques Short run/job shop experience preferred. Large part and crane experience a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts, checking own work with gauges, calipers, and micrometers to document inspection sheets. Provide training & assistance to less skilled machine operators. Document machine setups and processes into job setup packages. Complete necessary preventive maintenance tasks as needed. Operate fork-lift as needed. Participate in continuous improvement project efforts.
