We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Support strategic planning and personnel administration for the Operations Section, collaborating with Service Delivery, Architecture, and Security teams.• Mentor network operations engineers, guiding them in the practical application of current and emerging technologies, agile IT, and ITIL practices.• Act as "queue managers" during shift lead duties, ensuring efficient assignment and timely resolution of escalated issues to meet SLAs.• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices and systems, ensuring high availability and end-to-end visibility using various monitoring tools.• Provide maintenance and patching for critical fiber optic circuits to ensure backbone redundancy and meet stringent network availability service levels.• Collaborate with the Network Architecture team to identify and recommend Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions for improved automation and zero-touch deployments.What You'll Need• High School diploma with either CCIE (Routing and Switching) certification and 5 years of equivalent Data Center operational experience, OR CCNP (Routing & Switching/Data Center) certification and 10 years of equivalent Data Center operational experience.• Proven experience mentoring network operations engineers on technology application, agile IT, and ITIL practices.• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.• Strong understanding of network infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting tools.• Experience with DWDM circuits, Cisco-based wireless LANs, and SCADA network optimization is advantageous.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($85,000 – $99,403) plus a comprehensive benefits package.• A flexible hybrid work environment.• Access to a robust Learning & Development platform, including certification preparation and assistance.• Opportunities for training and education.Apply via Haystack today!
