The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin development, API test automation, and REST service validation, along with a passion for building scalable automation frameworks and improving product quality.Rate Range:$53/hour to $56/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Custom Software Engineer job responsibilities include:Design, develop, and maintain automated API test frameworks usingJava and/or Kotlin .\r\nCreate and execute automated tests to verify third-party partner APIs and integrations.\r\nDefine test strategies, test coverage, and automation plans for new application features and enhancements.\r\nDevelop and maintain REST API test suites while diagnosing and resolving test failures.\r\nContribute to the design and development of testing tools, frameworks, and automation infrastructure.\r\nPerform root cause analysis of complex technical issues and drive automation failures to resolution.\r\nCollaborate with development and product teams to improve application quality, reliability, and test coverage.\r\nPrioritize, schedule, and communicate testing activities, risks, and status updates to stakeholders.\r\nDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree inComputer Engineering, Computer Science , or a related technical field.\r\n5+ yearsof hands-on industry experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles.\r\nStrong proficiency inJava and/or Kotlin programming .\r\nExperience developing API automation frameworks with a strong focus onREST services .\r\nExperience troubleshooting automation failures and analyzing complex distributed systems.\r\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a testability mindset.\r\nAbility to design comprehensive test cases and build robust automation solutions.\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nPreferred Qualifications:Understanding ofCI/CD principlesand automated testing strategies for cloud-native applications.\r\nExperience withDocker, Kubernetes, containerization, and virtualization technologies .\r\nFamiliarity withAI/ML solutionsand intelligent application platforms.\r\nExperience withJestor similar testing frameworks.\r\nKnowledge of cloud application development, deployment, and testing best practices.\r\nIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
