In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are adequately estimated and accounted for. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimation for various sectors including commercial, industrial, and healthcare, and will work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on project plans and specifications.\nConduct bid take-offs and analyze project documents to identify necessary materials and labor.\nCollaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope.\nUtilize estimation software such as Accubid and Bluebeam to create accurate estimates.\nReview and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.\nProvide support during the bidding process and assist in the preparation of bid submissions.\nMaintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.\nEvaluate and implement cost-saving measures when possible.\n\nQualifications\n\nProven experience as an Electrical Estimator with a strong understanding of electrical plans and specifications.\nKnowledge of estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam.\nExperience in various sectors, including mission critical commercial, industrial, and healthcare is preferred.\nFamiliarity with NEC codes and standards.\nStrong analytical skills with attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.\n\nCandidates who fill out skills and questions move to the front of the application process!\n\nBenefits\n\nFull Benefits Included\n\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
