About the roleWe've built a platform for schools and tutoring organizations. It's in market, we have customers, and the early feedback has been excellent. We're now hiring our first dedicated Sales Executive to build on that foundation and drive our next stage of growth across the U.S. and international markets.This is a ground-floor role with real ownership. You won't be starting from a blank page — the product works and there's real demand — but you will be shaping how we sell it: refining the messaging, building the pipeline, and creating the repeatable processes that future hires will run on.If you want a direct hand in a company's growth and the upside of joining early, this is that role.What you'll doBuild and own the sales functionDevelop and test outbound strategies across email, calls, partnerships, and eventsIdentify and close customers: schools (public, private, parochial, charter), districts, tutoring companies, nonprofits, and summer programsRun product demos and bring market feedback back to the teamExecute the full bottom of funnel — outreach sequences, engagement-based follow-up, booking and closing meetingsTurn what works into repeatable processes as we growEstablish partnerships and distribution channelsWhat we're looking forA track record of closing in sales — ideally EdTech, SaaS, or education, but a strong closer from an adjacent space who's eager to learn the market is welcomeComfort building structure and process on an early-stage foundationExperience in startups or opening new markets is a plusSharp communication and strong storytellingSelf-motivated, resourceful, and resilientYou'll thrive here if youEnjoy building and shaping rather than just maintainingAre comfortable hearing "no" and iterating quicklyThink like an owner and want a seat at the tableCare about education and improving outcomes for learners
