OverviewGroup 1 Automotive is hiring Service Advisors for multiple Bob Howard high-volume dealership locations in Oklahoma City and Edmond.This role is ideal for driven professionals who thrive in a busy service environment, enjoy working directly with customers, and can confidently recommend maintenance and repair services.Service Advisors act as the primary connection between customers and the service team—explaining vehicle needs, upselling recommended services, and delivering a smooth, professional experience.Strong communication skills, vehicle maintenance aptitude, and the ability to handle volume are key to success.If you're organized, energetic, and motivated by results, this is an opportunity to grow your career with a respected automotive group.ResponsibilitiesSchedule and confirm service appointments to ensure an efficient customer experienceCreate accurate, transparent repair orders with detailed cost and time estimatesServe as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and parts teamsProvide timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair processReview inspections and confidently recommend maintenance and repair servicesMaintain strong product, warranty, and service knowledgeAccurately document customer interactions and service details in the systemQualificationsValid driver's license and acceptable driving record; High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive training or certifications are a plusPrior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in a customer-facing role within a dealership or automotive service environment preferredStrong knowledge of automotive maintenance, repair processes, and vehicle systemsExcellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, professional mannerProven ability to upsell recommended maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with dealership management systems (such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) and basic computer skillsAbility to work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff, and managementIn addition to competitive compensation, we offer:Monthly base pay of $2,500, plus performance-based commissionEstimated total monthly earnings range: $4,000–$9,000+, based on individual performanceEarnings are not guaranteed and may vary based on factors including CSI scores, customer pay sales, warranty performance, and overall departmental resultsPerformance-driven pay structure that rewards customer satisfaction, productivity, and quality serviceOngoing training, coaching, and support in a high-volume service environmentOpportunities for long-term growth within Group 1 AutomotiveHealth, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insuranceEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
