Approximately 1600 billable hours/annually are required so candidate must be organized and proactive in moving cases forward. Assignment would start fully in office but will convert to a hybrid role. Firm culture is one of learning and service - big on volunteering and committed to training.\nDuties\nAssist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial procedures\nManage and maintain legal case files using document management systems\nConduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies\nDraft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence\nOrganize and analyze evidence; review documents for relevance and privilege; perform document review tasks efficiently\nSupport project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements across multiple cases\nHandle confidential information with discretion while maintaining strict adherence to procedural law standards\nProvide executive administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, and handling phone inquiries with professionalism\nAssist in preparing for hearings or trials by assembling exhibits and managing logistical arrangements\nExperience\nProven paralegal experience supporting litigation teams in real estate and probate l law environments\nStrong knowledge of procedural law including filing procedures across state and federal courts\nExperience using legal support software\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint) along with legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment\nStrong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are highly valued\nEffective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette\nDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining accuracy in data entry and filing tasks\nPrior experience supporting attorneys with project management tasks and administrative duties is preferred\nJoin our team to contribute your expertise in a collaborative environment that values precision, initiative, and continuous learning.
