Project Manager | Forward Planning | Residential HomebuildingA leading national homebuilder is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of community development, from architectural design and site planning through construction completion. Reporting to Division leadership, this role owns community schedules, budgets, quality control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain community and construction schedules, overseeing all construction activities and quality controlCoordinate input from Division leadership on site and architectural designSupervise and coordinate outside consultants including architects, civil engineers, landscape architects, and soils engineersNegotiate consultant contracts for architecture, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and soils engineeringCreate, maintain, and report on site budgets; provide weekly written progress reports covering trade partner meetings, agency contacts, problem resolution, and safetyAssist in preparing feasibility studies and support operational planningCoordinate DRE processing, CC&Rs, and HOA setup; serve as liaison and board member as neededSecure and manage the exoneration of necessary bondsCoordinate model complexes, conditional use permits, and phasing logisticsSupport the Operations Department throughout the construction processQualifications7+ years of experience in community development, redevelopment, economic development, or housing (public agency, private, or non-profit)Bachelor's degree preferred in Urban Design, Planning, Real Estate, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong analytical ability and excellent written communication skillsProven organizational, management, and motivational skillsValid, unrestricted driver's license; regular site presence requiredThis is a strong opportunity for a project management professional with deep community development experience who thrives in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment and wants to play a central role in bringing residential communities to life.
