From Central Utility Plants to Coolant Distribution Units, Stellar Energy delivers scalable cooling infrastructure designed to support the rapid expansion of data centers and mission-critical industrial operations.\n\nBacked by deep engineering expertise and large-scale manufacturing capability, Stellar Energy helps customers deploy critical infrastructure faster and with confidence.\n\nSummary Objective\nTo have experienced working knowledge of the Industrial Structural Fitting, Assembly & Welding Industry and the various terminologies, blueprint reading, measurements, take outs, job specifications, etc., to build an integrally complete erection system.\n\nEssential Functions\nFluent in understanding job specification, blueprint reading, target point measurements, true /plumb /square checking, and any necessary torque requirements, for large industrial structural steel systems.\nThe ability to cut, prep, fit and tack small to large; HSS box tubes, Angle, W-members, Flat Plate, etc., from various material types through true-plumb-square; into weld ready status, using isometric and structural drawings, while adhering to specific fit tolerance requirements.\nThe ability to properly select, measure, hand dress, score and cut with torch, air arc, plasma, grinder, power saws, hand tools, etc., as necessary to prepare metal surfaces for welding process to be completed per job specific requirements.\nInstallation knowledge of all forms of structural system hangers, supports, braces, etc., from temporary through jamb-nut completion.\nStrong structural aptitude and problem solver who can understand and follow instruction.\nAccountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, and health regulations.\nOperate overhead cranes and or forklifts, while adhering to industry standard practices of safe rigging systems and techniques.\nSafely and efficiently direct and monitor two or more helpers.\nDocumentation of all quality reporting methods employed per SEA Quality Standards.\nComplies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements and is physically / medically qualified to wear required PPE per OSHA standards.\nResponsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review.\nPrepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nCompetencies\nCollaboration Skills\nReliable Attendance\nDecision Making\nLeadership\nCommunication Proficiency; Written and Verbal\nEthical Conduct\nProblem Solving\nOrganizational Skills\nThoroughness\nTime Management\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nWork Location\nThis position will work out of our facilities in Jacksonville, FL. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
