In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our datacenter infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, availability, and performance. You will work closely with a global team of senior engineers and technicians to maintain and troubleshoot datacenter equipment, deploy new hardware and software, and assist with monitoring and documentation tasks.\r\nDesired experience 2 to 3 years experience in an IT support role\r\nStrong understanding of datacenter infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networking devices, and PDUs\r\nProficiency in Linux and Mac OS X operating systems, including command-line interfaces and system administration tasks\r\nExperience with Android and iOS a big plus (can be taught to the right candidate)\r\nScripting in Bash, Ansible or similar would be advantageous\r\nPrior use of Jira, Confluence and Google Workspace is desirable\r\nBasic knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively\r\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment\r\nProactive, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment\r\nFamiliarity with datacenter operations best practices, such as equipment installation, cabling, power distribution, cooling, and environmental monitoring (nice to have, but can be taught)\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) desirable\r\nSome experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Proxmox) and server hardware (e.g., Dell, HP) desirable but not required\r\nLanguage Requirements: English\r\nWhat you will do Assist in the maintenance and support of datacenter infrastructure, including servers, NAS systems, networking devices, WiFi APs, and power distribution units (PDUs)\r\nCollaborate with senior engineers to deploy new hardware and software in the datacenter environment, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and testing\r\nPerform routine equipment inspections and daily maintenance tasks to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations\r\nInventory management – asset-tag equipment and keep track of repairs\r\nMonitor datacenter performance metrics, including temperature, power consumption, and network connectivity, and promptly raise any anomalies or alarms to the appropriate teams\r\nAssist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, working closely with global, cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime\r\nContribute to the improvement of operational procedures and documentation, maintaining accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incident reports\r\nCollaborate with vendors and service providers to coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance activities\r\nSupport datacenter security protocols, including physical access
