This Space Planner will be responsible for:\nProgram requests for renovations, oversee space utilization and provide interior design support for ~1.5 million sq. ft. of mixed use space in the South region of the US.\nPartnering with Business Units (BUs) to understand and analyzed space/program requirements and provide conceptual space plans/test fits and recommendations to the BU user groups.\nInterpreting customer requests, define the scope of work for Facilities Engineering estimates and develop AutoCAD drawings for demo/renovations.\nAdministering the Archibus database which provides the space allocation data used for metrics and reports.\nEssential Functions:\nKey member of a small Space Mgmt. team to drive modernization and utilization of Brevard county sites.\nCandidate will be involved in several space planning projects at one time and will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously. In addition, will work closely with Maintenance and Operations teams.\nSupport the forecast, development and tracking of capital and expense budgets for the corporation.\nThis role will require strong skills in: strategic facilities space planning and facilities standards\nQualifications:\nMinimum of (4) years’ experience directly related to the delivery of space and move/occupancy\nBachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associate’s Degree / PMP and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.\nSelf-starter with good written, verbal communication and presentation skills\nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).\nAbility to effectively present information.\nAbility to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.\nStrong organizational and analytical skills.\nMicrosoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio)\nUnderstand process improvement, and project management -- estimating, project schedule, construction, trouble shooting and problem solving\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience with Archibus and AutoCAD\nLicensed interior designer or architect\nFacilities certifications (FMP - Facilities Mgmt.
