Are you ready to be part of a global team that is changing how eDiscovery, information governance, forensic and electronic investigations are being conducted around the world?\n\nWhat you will be doing:\nThe DevSecOps Engineering team is responsible for improving the reliability, performance, scale, and observability of Nuix software. Additionally, the team fills a crucial role as a go between the support teams and the development teams by troubleshooting critical production issues and reporting findings back to the development teams.\n\nThis position will be based in our Pittsburgh office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week, but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Pittsburgh office for the remaining days of the week.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTake ownership of, and drive improvements to, shared platforms: CI/CD tools, Configuration management, AWS networking infrastructure, Security, Logging and monitoring, Cost engineering, Security scanning\n\nMaintain and upkeep operational excellence across Nuix environments.\n\nIdentify and own opportunities to simplify or automate systems and processes.\n\nWork closely with development teams to assist and recommend deployment and implementation patterns with various applications being deployed into the environment.\n\nIdentify and document non-functional system requirements and ensure they are met.\n\nDevelop, implement & maintain multiple CI/CD pipelines for different applications; simplifying the process across different applications and consolidating toolsets and deployment projects\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nTertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.Minimum of 4 years experience within an applicable role.\n\nExceptional communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders, and in incident responses.\n\nAdvanced level capabilities as pertains to all phases of testing within the SDLC\n\nExperience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS\n\nExperience with AWS, Kubernetes, terraform and helm\n\nConfiguration Management Experience. (Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Vagrant preferred)\n\nExperience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins\n\nExperience with building installation packages, docker containers & registries\n\nFamiliarity with Java, Python, Groovy, Bash, or Powershell\n\nProven record of up-time, understanding HA, SLA management, Change Control workflows.\n\nDemonstrate ability to solve complex problems.\n\nDeep financial understanding of cloud compute.\n\nDemonstrated experience in running successful infrastructure projects to completion.\n\nGeneral IT knowledge with the ability to solve problems which require research for solution\n\nThe ability to test individually designed code is required\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment\n\nCommitment to work collaboratively & cross-functionally\n\nDesirable:\nSumologic, Artifactory, BitBucket, SonarQube\n\nHacker mentality - understand how things actually work under the bonnet and not be scared\nNuix is on an incredible journey of transformation, aligning our strengths with our ambitions to pursue greater opportunities.
