Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is seeking a Project Manager III with federal project management experience to help deliver a transformative federal initiative with far-reaching impact. This role places you at the forefront of a high-profile program, requiring strong leadership, innovative problem-solving, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through every phase of project execution. This position can be located in several cities, including: Robles Junction, AZ; Sonoita, AZ; Indio, CA; Casa Grande, AZ; and San Diego, CA.\nResponsibilities include:\nServe as primary client point of contact onsite\nMaintain quality control procedures\nSupport contract negotiations\nOversee all design reviews and estimates\nOversee claims avoidance procedures\nCoordinate Design Team actions and approval processes.\nCoordinate Value Engineering initiatives.\nReview Cash flow projections as needed.\nMonitor Budget and Schedule adherence.\nManage Owner-directed vendors and consultants through coordination efforts.\nEstablishes operational objectives and work plans.\nDevelops, modifies, executes program policies that affect immediate operations and may have program-wide effect.\nOversees the administration of certain procedures during the program wide construction and design cycle.\nProvides overall management administration to projects and assists in establishing projects specific objectives and policies.\nProvides technical direction and guidance to other project managers, implements company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with the client standards.\nApplies financial terminology, measures, financial data analysis concepts and principles in assignments.\nRecognizes processes/project actions that may lead to project financial impact.\nReviews pre-construction documents.\nProvides analysis and recommendations to the leadership team regarding contract disputes, schedule variances, change orders (CO) and propose change orders (PCO).\nConstruction and design schedule review and analysis.\nProject specific responsibilities including supporting project from inception to completion, coordinating design review comments, providing quality assurance, observing and certifying work in place as part of processing invoices, managing change management (RFI), tracking project status and quality compliance relative to schedule, cost control, and quality\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience with Federal Projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nMust be able to successfully pass client background check including motor vehicle check and drug screen\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)\nOwner representative experience is preferred\nIndustry certifications such as CQM and DBIA or ability to obtain within 1 year.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office.\nExperience in Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint, MS Project or other PMIS, preferred.\nRequires project and client management experience including management of multiple projects of significant scope and complexity.\nExperience managing complex projects and coordinating with a team of multiple stakeholders and contractors.\nHighly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present ideas and gain consensus from senior leaders.\nDemonstrate strong cost and schedule management skills.\nExtremely strong relationship building and communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to champion and drive ideas/solutions.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills, able to work under pressure, deliver on time, and prioritize effectively.\nAble to demonstrate passion, energy, and drive, especially in the face of resistance.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship is not available for this position.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
