This role offers the opportunity to lead high-end interior design projects from concept through completion, working on prestigious residential and commercial developments throughout the region. The ideal candidate will bring both creative vision and technical expertise, serving as a key contributor to multidisciplinary project teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage interior design projects through all phases from schematic design through construction administrationCollaborate with the architectural team to coordinate client communications, project schedules, and budgetsWork independently to advance projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversightMonitor and manage client interior budgets throughout project lifecycleLead overall interior design direction including architectural integration, millwork design, furniture selection, fabric and material specifications, and lighting designDesign custom casework including preparation of shop drawings, coordination of fabrication, and delivery oversightPrepare comprehensive specifications, manage purchasing processes, and oversee scheduling and installationDevelop client proposals, presentation boards (both physical and digital), cost estimates, and scopes of workPresent design concepts and material selections to clients with confidence and clarityProactively communicate schedule concerns, budget issues, or project challenges to managementCoordinate all project consultants or oversee coordination by team members, maintaining responsibility for accuracy and efficiencyWork closely with the Director of Finance to ensure timely invoicing and resolve billing mattersServe as an integral member of the design team, contributing to a collaborative studio environment REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Interior Design10+ years of professional interior design experienceExpert proficiency in CAD systems (Revit preferred)Advanced skills in InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong hand drawing and sketching abilitiesDemonstrated experience managing projects from concept through constructionProven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectivelyExcellent client communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyExperience with high-end residential and/or commercial projects PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESHighly collaborative by nature, with the willingness to approach every project with creativityAn innate desire to produce meaningful work with strong design skillsA Detail and task-oriented work manner with a passion for excellencePro-active and dynamic in their skills and leadership
