Join a team committed to creating meaningful change in mental health and community support.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Ft. Worth, TX, for an Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator will handle client inquiries, schedule appointments, verify insurance details, and explain policies or services to clients. This role will require maintaining updated records, managing client information accurately, and coordinating with team members to ensure the delivery of services. Additionally, the Intake Coordinator will engage with clients to assess needs and provide outstanding customer service throughout the intake process.DutiesManage all intake scheduling for cliniciansMaintain daily oversight of clinician calendars and proactively fill openingsManage intake paperwork and reschedule cancellationsDocument all patient communication in the EHRNotify patients of absences and planned closuresCollaborate with intake to transition new patients into therapyAssist with referral processing and patient registrationContact new referrals within 7 daysVerify insurance and collect required documentationObtain necessary authorizations and PCP referralsHelp reduce referral backlog and maintain intake flowWhat We Are Looking ForThis role requires someone who:Works independently without daily task promptingManages competing priorities effectivelyMaintains high attention to detailTakes ownership of deadlines and follow-throughCommunicates clearly and professionallyIs dependable and consistent in attendanceQualifications2+ years in medical scheduling, behavioral health administration, or intake coordinationExperience verifying insurance and obtaining authorizations preferredEHR experience required (TherapyNotes preferred)Strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage high-volume workflows independentlySpanish bilingual is a plus
