This role involves managing requirements, developing and managing master test plans, and executing test activities. Embrace the opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company that values creativity, teamwork, and cutting‑edge technology.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPlan, prepare, and execute test procedures.\n\nDevelop automated test equipment and software.\n\nReview performance specifications and provide test procedural recommendations.\n\nProduce test plans and support test planning and system development meetings.\n\nConduct pre- and post-test briefings.\n\nDevelop and deliver test reports.\n\nAssess safety hazards and provide risk mitigation inputs.\n\nDevelop test support, instrumentation, and data recording requirements.\n\nCoordinate test asset and facility resources.\n\nDevelop data analysis tools and analyze test data.\n\nQuality Function\n\nTroubleshoot and solve problems.\n\nCapture and drive the resolution of issues.\n\nImprove procedures and processes.\n\nApply System of Systems thinking and Design of Experiments (DOE) concepts.\n\nPerform integration testing, lead failure investigations, and perform root cause analysis.\n\nDesign data analysis processes to assess system quality.\n\nEducation / Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in engineering or physics required.\n\nPrivate Pilot License and/or A&P License desired.\n\nASQ CQE or CQA desirable.\n\nMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in quality engineering or related disciplines required.\n\nAircraft system and avionics operational experience required.\n\nQualifications\n\nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.\n\nKnowledge of aerospace/defense engineering design, configuration control, and production disciplines.\n\nKnowledge of aircraft systems and pilot standard operating procedures.\n\nAbility to analyze and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.\n\nStrong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies.\n\nExperience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance).\n\nProficient in writing test plans and test cases.\n\nGeneral purpose test equipment proficiency (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, network analyzers).\n\nAbility to work at floor level to 8 feet high with appropriate ladder.\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).\n\nStrong administrative, organizational, record management, and configuration control skills.\n\nStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills.\n\nAbility to multitask and prioritize.\n\nSelf‑motivated, inquisitive, and resourceful.\n\nAbility to make decisions based on benefit, risk, time constraints, and opportunity.\n\nAbility to work well under pressure in a collaborative, dynamic environment.\n\nUp to 75% travel CONUS and OCONUS for on‑site installation verification and validation test activities.\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
