Corporate Controller
Sage Freight is currently seeking a Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-driven finance professional with experience in financial close, reporting, and multi-entity accounting. They are comfortable managing complex accounting functions, ensuring accuracy across financial operations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Strong GAAP knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business are required; CPA preferred.Job Summary:The Corporate Controller leads the company’s accounting and financial control function by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting across the freight brokerage, trucking company, leasing company, holding company, and Pakistan BPO operation. The role is accountable for monthly close, consolidated financial statements, line-of-credit and borrowing-base reporting accuracy, cash and debt reconciliations, accounts payable aging and liability completeness, accounts receivable accounting integrity, audit readiness, and internal controls. The position directly manages the Pakistan Controller and establishes standards for offshore accounting resources supporting both Pakistan and U.S. entity books, while partnering with the General Manager of Finance Operations on operational issues affecting billing, collections, payables, and cash flow.
