Trailer Technician

Job Description The Trailer Technician will specialize in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of bulk hauling tractor trailers. Working under the supervision of the Lead Technician, this role ensures all trailers meet safety and operational standards, with a focus on hydraulic systems and safety compliance. The position involves local work, supporting the efficiency and reliability of our trailers through diagnostic testing and mechanical repairs.ResponsibilitiesInspect bulk hauling tractor trailers for wear and damagePerform routine maintenance and necessary repairsMaintain and repair hydraulic systemsConduct diagnostic testing to identify issuesEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulationsCollaborate with the Lead Technician and team membersKeep accurate records of maintenance and repairsPreferred QualificationsEntry-level experience in trailer maintenanceTechnical certification in automotive or trailer repairValid driver's license; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferredKnowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and brake systemsExperience with welding and mechanical repairProficiency with diagnostic toolsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of safety procedures
