Join GDIT as a Deployment/Availability Coordinator for a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support.\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:\nAs a Deployment/Availability Coordinator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USSTRATCOM. USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environment.\nYou will play a crucial role in providing administration support in the following areas:\nDeployment Management:\nManage and coordinate the planning, scheduling, and successful deployment of IT systems, applications, and solutions.\nCollaborate with change management, release management, and development teams to ensure smooth transitions of changes from development into production environments.\nOversee the development and documentation of deployment plans, schedules, and rollback strategies.\nMonitor and analyze deployment issues, ensuring swift resolution and capturing lessons learned for future improvements.\nAvailability Management:\nCreate, implement, and monitor availability management processes to ensure IT services meet and exceed agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).\nDevelop and maintain availability and reliability plans for critical IT services, driving improvements where needed.\nConduct availability risk assessments and report on service availability trends, vulnerabilities, and potential performance improvements.\nWork closely with infrastructure, operations, and incident management teams to resolve performance and availability issues quickly.\nMake recommendations for Key Performance Indicator additions or modifications to improve the accuracy of SLA reporting.\nAssist the Task Manager in collection and calculation of SLA metrics\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nBS degree; may be substituted for additional years of experience\n3+ years of IT/DoW administration or service management experience\nSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI\nRequired Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start; GFACT or CND or Security+ or GSEC\nLocation: Offutt AFB, NE\nStrong experience in ITIL framework, specifically ITIL 4, with preference for holding ITIL certifications (e.g., ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Specialist or equivalent) with a deep understanding of ITIL 4 Deployment Management and Availability Management processes.\nFamiliarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).\nProficiency in analyzing data and producing actionable insights to improve IT services.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills.\nProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent time-management and organizational skills.\nIncident response and root‑cause analysis\nAbility to escalate and collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\n401K with company match\nEducational Assistance and eLearning\nFlexible work week\nInternal mobility team dedicated to employee advancement\nRewards and Recognition programs\nInnovative and collaborative environment encouraging highly motivated critical thinking\n#SCITLS\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n3 + years of related experience\nmay vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\nCertification\nTravel Required\nLess than 10%\nCitizenship\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nSalary and Benefit Information\nThe likely salary range for this position is $79,050 - $106,950.
