This role is responsible for troubleshooting electrical and control systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.In our growing food manufacturing environment, you will play a critical role in maintaining automated production lines, improving equipment uptime, and supporting a strong culture of safety and compliance. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable working closely with Maintenance and Production teams in a regulated environment.Core ResponsibilitiesElectrical Systems & Troubleshooting Expert: Maintain safe and reliable plant operations.Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution (480V, 3-phase)Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated production linesInterpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsRespond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly and safelySupport installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipmentPreventive Maintenance Owner: Reduce downtime through proactive planning.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical and control systemsInspect and maintain VFDs, sensors, conveyors, packaging equipment, and instrumentationIdentify potential equipment risks and recommend corrective actionsComplete and document all maintenance tasks accurately within tracking systemsAutomation & Controls Partner: Support performance and continuous improvement.Assist with PLC troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)Collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve equipment reliability and efficiencyParticipate in root cause analysis for recurring electrical failuresSupport equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvementsSafety & Compliance Champion: Protect people, equipment, and product integrity.Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and plant safety standards at all timesExecute and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresMaintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirementsWork safely in washdown and sanitary production environmentsQualificationsLicensed or Journeyman Electrician certification3+ years of industrial electrical experienceStrong knowledge of 480V, 3-phase systems and industrial power distributionExperience troubleshooting PLC-controlled production equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsUnderstanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresPreferredExperience in food or beverage manufacturingFamiliarity with washdown environments and sanitary design standardsExperience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC systemsNFPA 70E / Arc Flash trainingExperience supporting multi-shift manufacturing operationsWhat It Takes to SucceedCalm and effective under pressure during equipment breakdownsStrong problem-solver with a proactive maintenance mindsetClear communicator across Maintenance, Production, and leadership teamsDetail-oriented and committed to safety and complianceComfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environmentHow to ApplyIf you are interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply.
