Transmission Line Engineering Manager/Sr Manager

OverviewENERCON’s Power Delivery Team is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager to join the team. This position can be located in one of the following offices:Spring, TXDallas, TXFort Worth, TXKennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta)Nashville, TNOrlando, FLPalm Beach Gardens, FLTampa, FLCharlotte, NCKennewick, WAPortland, OREmeryville, CASan Luis Obispo, CAGlendale, AZRemote will be considered for candidates that are senior and aboveResponsibilitiesA typical day in this role involves leading a talented engineering team through the design and optimization of transmission lines, tackling complex challenges while mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills. You’ll manage multiple client projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and making sure everything adheres to industry standards and safety protocols.Leadership & Team Management: Lead engineering teams in the design, analysis, and optimization of transmission lines. Mentor and develop junior engineering staff. Ability to lead multiple client engagements concurrently, utilizing project contributors from multiple officesProject Management: Manage all phases of transmission line projects, from conceptual design through construction and as-built support. Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and project deliverables (in collaboration with ENERCON Power Delivery PMO)Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transmission line projects into overall infrastructure improvement plans. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as neededCompliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityMinimum of 6 years of experience in Transmission line engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Senior role available based on industry experienceActive Professional Engineer (PE) license, ideally with NCEES record for reciprocityERCOT experience preferredExpertise with PLS-CADD software suite and MFADExperience with NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and other industry-relevant standardsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWillingness to travel for client site visits and project meetingsCompensation RangeUSD $117,000.00 - USD $179,300.00 /Yr.Additional InformationENERCON Services, Inc.
