This role partners closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), business leaders, and HR stakeholders to translate complex information into engaging, effective, and measurable learning experiences.Duties and Responsibilities:Design end-to-end learning solutions using instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile)Develop engaging learning assets including: eLearning modules, instructor-led and virtual training materials, and microlearning, job aids, and performance support toolsApply adult learning principles and learning science to ensure effectivenessConduct learning needs analyses to identify performance gaps and root causesPartner with business leaders and SMEs to define learning objectives and success metricsRecommend appropriate learning modalities (eLearning, ILT, blended, on-the-job)Create and edit learning content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise)Leverage learning platforms such as LMS/LXP systemsIncorporate multimedia, interactivity, and assessments to enhance learner engagementDesign assessments and evaluation strategies aligned to learning objectivesAnalyze learner feedback and performance data to improve learning solutionsMeasure learning impact and effectiveness (e.g., Kirkpatrick levels)Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, meeting timelines and quality standardsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the design and development processEnsure content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational standardsEnsure learning content meets regulatory, compliance, and audit requirementsMaintain documentation, version control, and content governance standardsAdditional duties as assignedSkills and Competencies:Instructional design and curriculum developmentLearning needs analysis and performance consultingStoryboarding and content scriptingStrong written, visual, and verbal communication skillsStakeholder partnership and consultationProject management and attention to detailMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, Human Resources, or related field3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning development (corporate or academic)Strong knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning theoryExperience developing eLearning and blended learning solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related fieldExperience supporting leadership development, onboarding, or technical trainingKnowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)Experience with data-driven learning evaluationExperience in AI Video designCertification (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Instructional Design certificate)Tools and Technologies:Authoring tools: Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate/LMS/LXP platforms (Axonify, Horizon)Video and multimedia toolsMicrosoft 365, collaboration platformsSurvey and analytics toolsWorking Conditions:Physical Requirements:* Sit (Continually=67-100% of workday)Communication Skills:* Writing, Talking/Hearing on the phone (Continually=67-100% of workday)Environment Requirements:* Remote/Home office (Continually=67-100% of the workday)Travel:* No travel requiredPay and Benefits DisclosureThe pay range for this role is $56,500 - $104,900 a year and is based on experience and qualifications. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
