This role combines software engineering with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform operations. The ideal candidate has strong Python development experience, deep knowledge of AWS, and a passion for automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and building reliable cloud-native solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and platform services using Python.\nBuild, automate, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery.\nDesign and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.\nDevelop and support serverless solutions utilizing AWS services including Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, S3, and IAM.\nBuild reusable automation and tooling to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nSupport production environments by troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure and distributed systems issues.\nManage cloud infrastructure deployments, identity and access management, and platform operations across AWS environments.\nPartner with software engineers, platform engineers, and data engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.\nParticipate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport modernization initiatives, including modularizing applications and implementing cloud-native architectures.\nMentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.\nRequired Skills\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\nStrong Python development experience in enterprise environments, including object-oriented programming concepts.\nExperience designing and deploying applications on AWS.\nStrong understanding of AWS services including IAM, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, and SNS.\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.\nExperience with modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, Git, automated testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and deployment automation.\nExperience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, or similar tools.\nExperience working with cloud-native and distributed systems.\nExperience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.\nStrong understanding of software design principles, code quality, and system scalability.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with event-driven, real-time, or streaming architectures.\nExperience with AWS services including IAM, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, and S3.\nExperience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms.\nExperience managing data warehouse objects such as schemas, users, grants, roles, and databases.\nExperience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.\nExperience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or another strongly typed programming language.\nAWS certifications are a plus.\nExperience mentoring engineers in an Agile environment.\nExperience supporting large-scale data ingestion and transformation platforms.\nWhy Should I Apply?\nJoin a dynamic team working on modern cloud platforms that support large-scale data processing, real-time data pipelines, and enterprise applications.
