The Staff Accountant will support the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, inventory accounting, cost accounting support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain general ledger journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesSupport inventory accounting, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation of inventory accountsAssist with cost accounting functions including labor, overhead allocation, and product costing analysisReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assetsAnalyze manufacturing variances and provide explanations to managementPrepare financial reports and schedules for internal management reviewAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededSupport internal audits and compliance reportingMaintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and proceduresCollaborate with operations and production departments to improve financial accuracy and reporting efficiencyParticipate in ERP system maintenance, reporting enhancements, and process improvementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environmentsUnderstanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting principlesExperience with ERP systemsStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plusPreferred SkillsExperience with inventory and cost accountingKnowledge of manufacturing operations and production workflowsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamContinuous improvement mindsetCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceBonus opportunityHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing organizationWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing facility and may occasionally require time on the production floor to support inventory and operational accounting activities.Work Arrangement : OnsitePay Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 annuallyBonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
