This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely billing for our projects, which often involve complex contracts and are based on the percentage of project completion.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nRead and interpret complex contracts to accurately calculate and generate invoices to customers based on project milestones and unique billing criteria.\nGenerate ancillary billing documents as required by project contract.\nRead, complete, and manage lien waivers as required.\nEnsure all billing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.\nMaintain project spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail.\nMaintain customer/project files with updated documents.\nEmail invoices/billing documents to customers and follow up on customer inquiries.\nCommunicate with customers' accounts payable departments via email and phone to address invoicing questions or concerns.\nWork closely with project managers, finance, and legal teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.\nEffectively contribute to and engage in both team meetings and cross-functional collaborations.\nReview, create and edit Excel reports.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 5 years of billing experience, preferably in the construction or solar industry.\nCompetent in Excel with Pivot tables, match formulas and finance-based applications.\nStrong understanding of contract terms and conditions.\nProficiency in reading and completing lien waivers.\nAbility to analyze reports for accuracy.\nAttention to details and strong organizational skills.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nNotary (if not currently, willing to become one)\nPreferred qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree\nSAP Experience\n\nAt Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state.
