Window functions, query tuning, reading an execution plan and knowing what to do about it.Python for pipeline and automation work.Production experience on SQL Server or PostgreSQL.Hands-on Tableau development. You've built dashboards, published data sources, written LOD expressions, and fixed a workbook that took 30 seconds to load.Dimensional modeling. You can tell me the grain of a fact table you designed and defend the choice.Git and CI/CD as part of how you work, not something a platform team does for you.Nice to have: Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or Databricks. Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or Prefect. Power BI. Experience migrating a legacy reporting environment onto something modern.What this is notNot remote. Not hybrid. This is onsite in Manhattan, and the team wants it that way.Not a data analyst role. You're building the platform underneath the reporting.Not a pure infrastructure job either.
