Job Description DescriptionJob Description:QualitySign certifications of conformanceMaintain ISO/AS9100 registration. Serve as Management representative for registration bodies. Point of Contact for source inspectionsOversee FAI and certification packages. Inspect completed packages and present to source inspectors. Inspect completed DD250sSchedule, perform and review internal and external auditsTrain and oversee Lead AuditorsResolve customer returnsServe as backup inspector and/or aid in receiving inspections as neededInitiate, track, and review corrective action requests. Perform RCCA on issues as needed.Review quality non-conformance reportsGenerate and review procedures, instructions and forms as neededWork with management team to ensure company-wide compliance of quality system as Management RepresentativeTroubleshoot quality issues that arise on the shop floorTrendsGenerate and analyze weekly quality trend chartsGenerate and analyze monthly quality objectives chartsConduct meetings with personnel based on trend chartsTrainingTrain new employees on the quality and non-conformance reporting systemsConduct recurring training regarding the QMS, Internal Audits, AS9100 and RCCARequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace IndustryExperience with AS9100 and AS9102. Served as Management Representative or Lead Auditor for external audits with registration bodies. Experience managing and performing internal and external audits per AS9100Demonstrated knowledge of RCCA for internal and external quality issuesA demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, approaches and tools, including strategic planning project managementExperience and working knowledge to include ISO/AS9100 implementation and documentationComputer skills should include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MS Access Ability to create and maintain a positive employee friendly work environment
