We operate as our clients' marketing department, just not in the office next door.\nWe embed ourselves so deeply into each brand's culture and voice that every video we cut is the brand.\nWe are a tight team that works hard, moves fast, thrives in controlled chaos, and believes ownership is non-negotiable.\nThe Job at a Glance\nYou take raw footage and turn it into a finished video: cut, color, sound, and motion graphics, start to finish\nYou work across Forge's full client roster, from monthly retainer content to major launches\nYou use AI tools to work faster and raise the bar on your output, not to cut corners\nYou know how content paces and trends on social media, and you cut with that in mind\nYou move fast, manage your own time, and aren't afraid to speak up with a better idea\nYou report to Forge's production and editing leadership, inside a pipeline that does not wait around\nYou own the edit, start to finish.\nWhat You Will Own\nVideo assembly on every project you're assigned\nColor grading, sound design, and mixing on your own cuts\nMotion graphics and overlays that meet Forge and client brand standards\nTurnaround on retainer deliverables and launch content\nYour own project organization inside Forge's file and review systems\nKey Responsibilities\nEditing\nAssemble raw footage into finished long-form and short-form video across the client roster\nCut for pacing, story, and platform trends, not just technical correctness\nWork primarily in DaVinci Resolve, using AI-assisted tools wherever they genuinely save time\nManage multiple projects and deadlines at once without quality loss\nColor, Sound, and Motion Graphics\nColor grade every project to a finished, client-ready standard\nDesign and mix audio, including music, sound effects, and dialogue cleanup\nBuild motion graphics and overlays: lower thirds, titles, callouts, and brand elements\nClient and Team Coordination\nWork from Forge's brand standards and creative direction on every project\nRoute cuts through our internal systems for review and revisions\nTake feedback and turn revisions around fast\nRequirements\n3 to 5 years of professional video editing experience\nStrong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve\nAble to close out a full project solo, not just your piece of it\nStrong sense of pacing and story, with a real handle on social media trends and platform conventions\nExperience or working knowledge of firearms preferred\nSelf-directed and able to perform in an extremely fast-paced agency environment\nComfortable speaking up with ideas, not just executing what's handed to you\nReel or portfolio required\nIdeal Candidate\nReal-world firearms or outdoor industry experience or familiarity\nAlready builds AI tools into your workflow and can show what that looks like\nBackground in an agency or high-volume production environment\nCompensation and Benefits\nJob Type: Full Time\nLocation: In Office, Myrtle Beach\nSalary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience\nBenefits: Health Insurance\nPay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year\nBenefits:\nPaid time off\nApplication Question(s):\nThis role involves editing firearms footage and creating marketing content for firearms and defense brands every day.
