Initially we used an external application development agency for MVP development, but at this time we are building a lean in-house product team. We have a backend engineer on board, and now need someone who specializes in frontend development, product design, mobile applications (iOS + Android), and app store operations. You are extremely excited about working in an early-stage startup and would be motivated to help us grow. At first you personally will be responsible for UX/UI design, software development, product launches, etc. but over time as product capabilities expand can lead the growth of a software development team.Responsibilities:Refine and stand up product development tech stackLead frontend development duties for web and mobile application, coordinating with backend lead and CEO for total product development operationsLead product design and innovative UX/UI strategy effortsDevelop product strategy as it relates to features, capabilities, etc.Own the product backlog, provide prioritization guidance, ensure product / business alignmentOwn the product roadmap, clearly communicate with rest of founding team on statuses, risks, expectations, etc.Qualifications:Impressive experience in software development and product management rolesFull stack capabilities preferred- frontend, backend, mobile, web, iOS, Android, frontend capabilities requiredExperience leading, building, and scaling teamsExperience in early stage startups, prior experience taking a pre-seed startup to seed stage and beyond or experience as a former startup CTO / developer is a huge plusExperience in sports, sports tech, sales and marketing tech, other related fields is a plus, although not requiredExperience building and launching mobile applications Compensation / Logistics: KingPool as of today is an unfunded operation, we built our MVP with a small crowdfund, and our next milestone is raising our pre-seed round once we build our commercial traction a bit. This position will be unpaid and equity only at first, and with that you are not expected to quit your day job and can approach this as a part-time side project for now.
