Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Mitigation Technician to join our growing California team. This role is critical to our emergency response and mitigation operations and involves hands-on fieldwork restoring properties affected by water, fire, and mold losses.
Key Responsibilities
Perform water extraction and structural drying using industry-standard equipment
Set up, monitor, and document drying systems (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.) Conduct mold remediation in accordance with IICRC standards and company protocols Assist with fire and smoke damage cleanup when required Perform selective demolition and debris removal Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, and daily logs Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and internal team members Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency response
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
IICRC WRT certification required (ASD and AMRT preferred)
Previous experience in water, fire, and/or mold restoration preferred Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
