Income Compliance Manager
Job Summary
The Income Compliance Manager will have an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. The Income Compliance Manager can be expected to handle communications with clients and internal departments, assist with Accounts Receivable making deposits, assist with Accounts Payable as needed, and generally ensure that the office operations are running smoothly. You should be professional and courteous with strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles. Responsibilities
Major Duties:
General accounts receivable functions
Prepare and submit customer invoices
Code, post and receipt payments
Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
Manage the grant lifecycle, from grant award to compliance and reporting.
Develop and maintain a grants calendar to track submission deadlines, reporting
requirements, and other key milestones.
Ensure compliance with grant terms, conditions, and reporting requirements,
including timely submission of progress reports, financial statements, and other
documentation.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to track grant expenditures, reconcile
budgets, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial
records
Assist in month end reporting procedures
Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
Enter and reconcile payroll and benefit expenses.
Perform filing and general administrative tasks
Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field and/or 3-5 Years General Ledger Accounting or experience in grant writing and administration within the nonprofit sector.
MS Office and knowledge of Accounting Software General Accounting Software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
