Remote work is not available.Position OverviewThe Lead Instructor & Program Teacher supports adult and youth education services by providing academic instruction and supporting college and career readiness for Miccosukee students.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree required (Teacher Certification preferred)Experience working with adolescents and adultsStrong communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsReliable attendance and ability to work full-time on-siteKey ResponsibilitiesProvide instruction and tutoring in core subjects (math, reading, and language) for Adult Education and Higher Education studentsSupport Higher Education students with coursework, study skills, and academic success planningCoordinate and teach within the Summer Youth Program (career readiness, job training, mentoring, field/ college trips, and Everglades conservation activities)Maintain accurate, confidential student records and contact informationOther duties as assigned to support program and grant requirementsDrug Screen and Background Check Required. xevrcycJob Site: Miccosukee Indian Reservation located 20 miles west of Krome Avenue on SW 8th Street.
