This includes but is not limited to setting up and breaking down print setups, slicing parts, optimizing printer capacity, verifying quality, and meeting the demands of operations.\n\nEssential Functions:\nSlice STL models using common slicers.\nOptimize printer capacity and print quality, balancing quality and speed.\nOperate 3D printers. Loading and unloading programs and material.\nMaintain 3D printers, such as nozzle changes, hot end rebuilds and other general maintenance.\nPerform finish operations on printed parts, such as sanding\\filing, removing supports and adding inserts.\nProvide system cost estimates for new printed parts\nAbility to read a blueprint and quality check key dimensions.\nAbility to utilize basic measurement tools (tape measure, caliper and micrometer)\nAbility to utilize common assembly tools (drills, hammers and wrenches)\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to 6S principals.\nAdditional duties as required\n\nQualifications:\nAssociate degree or equivalent work experience\nMinimum of 1-4 years' experience\nExperience in development or technical support of industrial equipment a plus\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical schematics required\nExcellent communication skills, written and verbal\n\nComputer skills:\nProficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Navision ERP\nExperience in SharePoint, Prusa Slicer, Markforged Eiger or similar is required\n\nReasonable Accommodation Statement:\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
