We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front-desk operations for an engineering organization. This contract position is well suited for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming first impression while managing a steady flow of calls and visitor interactions. The role requires strong communication skills, comfort with multi-line phone systems, and the ability to stay organized in a part-time office setting. Responsibilities: • Greet visitors and provide a courteous, welcoming front-desk experience for employees, guests, and vendors. • Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, routing each inquiry promptly and accurately to the appropriate contact. • Handle a consistent volume of inbound phone traffic while maintaining a calm and service-focused approach. • Support daily reception coverage by monitoring the switchboard and ensuring calls are answered efficiently. • Take clear messages, relay important information, and follow up as needed to help maintain smooth office communication. • Assist with general administrative and front-office tasks that keep the reception area organized and presentable.• Prior experience performing front-desk or receptionist duties in a detail-oriented office environment. • Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with confidence and accuracy. • Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, customer-focused demeanor. • Proven ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while handling multiple tasks at once. • Reliable availability for a part-time schedule and consistent on-site attendance in Boulder, Colorado. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
