Using advanced technologies, our team of field technicians, engineers, and surveyors, provide quality data and professional insight to help our clients visualize, plan, and design their projects. Our mission is to provide project stakeholders with quality information, professional insight and deliverables that streamline construction, improve project safety and set the standard for the engineering industry.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:You will work with a team of professionals, including engineers, project managers, land surveyors, CAD and SUE technicians to produce high quality deliverables that meet the guidelines established by the American Society of Civil EngineersUse geophysical equipment such as ground penetrating radar and multi-frequency pipe and cable locators to investigate and designate underground utilitiesWork with CAD software as part of your daily documentation processOperate vacuum excavation trucks to expose and document underground utilitiesDrive commercial motor vehicles (non-CDL), including vacuum excavation trucksOperate powered tools such as jackhammers, pneumatic tampers, concrete saws, and coring drillsComplete paper and electronic documentation on a daily basisPerform daily basic maintenance on vehiclesQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDPrior utility related experience is a plus, but not a necessityPrior experience working on diesel engines is a plusBasic understanding of utility and construction plans is a plusGood reading comprehension and communication skillsA good aptitude for using and understanding computer softwareMust be organizedEnjoy working outdoors on a daily basisAble to walk several miles a day across varying terrainAbility to solve problems and think on your feetShould have an understanding of basic mechanical principlesMust have valid driver's license with clean driving recordAble to pass a pre-employment physical*Must be able to pass a DOT medical screening and obtain a DOT medical cardShould be able to lift 50 lbsAbility to perform physical movements associated with operating heavy tools and equipmentOSHA safety certifications are a plusAble to travel across Colorado and other western states to support regional operations.
